I’m so in love with my beautiful family. Stephanie is just a dream baby. Happy and only crying when she has wind or is hungry. She settles herself to sleep, there’s no rocking or jiggling that has to be done. We took her to her 2nd birthday party – Sarah Lakes 30th on the weekend. Two of our other friends had their 6 week old babies there and we all shared a room where we settled and fed theour babies. It was so funny, us girls, who first got together at school, now all together with little babies. How time flies.
Stephanie loves kicking in the winter sun of a morning. She is so very strong and manages to move herself when she’s without a napppy. Each day she is awake more and more. Looking around, she also loves lying on dad and mum’s tummy after a meal. I think it helps it go down. Will’s first week back at work. I have been so spoiled to have him home and I think it has made all the difference settling in to Motherhood. I missed him so much, missed the support and the company. The first night (tonight is just the 2nd) he raced home and couldn’t wait to kiss her, she was asleep. Then he couldn’t wait for her to wake up. He actually asked me if I thought she missed him or at least his voice because he missed her so much. He’s going to try to leave work each night at 6pm so he’s home at 7. This is despite the fact that he’s got a new role with more responsibility…& more pay. My hubby is sooo clever.
